Summer & Fall Events
With this summer already being off to a literally blazing hot start, we wanted to map out what Fitness & Fellowship our Crew has on the horizon!
Independence Day is quickly approaching & we couldn’t think of a better way to start the Holiday weekend than by honoring one of our fallen heroes. Our Crew will be paying tribute to Navy Chief Petty Officer Mark Carter with his memorial workout Badger.
Here are a few adjustments to our class schedule as we head into the 4th.
Wednesday, July 3rd : No 6:15p Class
Thursday, July 4th : Only 9:00am Badger Hero Workout
Friday, July 5th : Only 8:30am & Noon Classes
Saturday, July 6th : Regularly Scheduled 9:00am Class
After far too long, 2024 gets its first Fitness & Fellowship Week beginning on July 8th! In case you’re new around here… F&F weeks consist of themed workouts all week long, concluding in an epic Friday night partner workout! Our theme for this week’s workouts will be Partners in Crime.
In preparation for Friday night’s festivities, claim your partner early in the week & make a plan to arrive dressed to impress as your favorite legendary duo (think Luke & Leia or Starsky & Hutch… not necessarily criminals) for a chance to be voted as the winners & receive a pair of gift cards to the Yard!
And if you think this couldn’t get any better, our friends at Local Bottle Shop will be catering in Benny DaCorsa’s Pizza and offering 10% off all the Crew’s bar tabs! Talk about showing us some Crew Love!!
To conclude, let’s look ahead to the Fall. Registration for the Run for the Pils 5k, organized by the Crew’s very own Jordan Waddell, is open & all Crew members receive $5 off registration with code LUMBERYARD. Our Crew had an outstanding showing last year, so we can’t wait to see how LYG represents & supports one another at this year’s unforgettable run, even if it’s just for fun!
Finally, it’s with great anticipation we announce our 2nd Annual Backyard Brawl, raising funds & support for the absolutely critical mission of The Lantern Project, is set for Saturday, October 19th. More details to come…
